world vision countdown to world AIDS day

12 million kids have been orphaned in Africa by AIDS. Millions more have died. December 1 is World AIDS Day. World Vision is running a series of videos in an attempt to put faces to the numbers. The site also has a number of ways that individuals and organizations can get involved in observing the day and get the word out about the effect of AIDS on children around the world. Check out the site and find out how you can make a difference in the lives of kids. And mark Dec. 1 on your calendar. It’s not exactly a day to celebrate, but it is a day to remember.
